Watercolour

A different version of Peter Pan, he is more of a victorian ruffian, who fights and is a bit rough around the edges but still a boy. Tinkerbell is also different from her usual pin-up appearance, I wanted a more ethereal look for her but with the ability to be beautiful as well as tough.

Very nice! A marvelous pairing of classic works/themes and well done at that. Love the color blending, especially on the coat. :) The eyebrow 'makes' it. Wonderfully crafty looking expression.

I like this. It's always wonderful to see a different take on the traditional images that are portrayed (i.e. disney, in this case!)

One of the things that I find is always kind of disappointing about seeing movies/shows/etc. based off of literature is that it kind of takes away from using your imagination to picture what the characters look like, what the world looks like, etc... It's probably one of the reasons I don't often go to movie adaptations of novels... i just end up looking for all the differences! :D (whoops didn't mean to ramble at you!)

Great work.

yes I often find that too, however I do love going to see films that had been made from books I have read, I like seeing another persons take on the characters when it is adapted well. I also like then how you can follow the story with a much more in depth knowledge, the pictures presented just add to it. Particularly with the film Memoirs of a Geisha, I loved the book and the film.
I also find too that people often don't bother to read the book from a film, which is quite sad really.

Hannah: Wow Annie, for a second I was totally convinced that your last post said: "Polly...GET IT ON" And I was like, "Uh...nice motivational advice?"
Polly: That's the kind of support people should be spreading around these days, you know?
:iconmisticloudz:
yes, it is definitely sad when people don't bother to read the book. reading is so much better for the soul! :D

I haven't yet seen memoirs of a geisha, i'll have to find that one now. :)
